Keep Your Concrete Updated

Decorative concrete will be a bonus for your buyers. Replace any worn or deteriorated Expansion Joint material with original or updated material. Paint your front door

Keep Your Front Door Welcoming

Your front door is often the first impression a buyer or visitor may have.  Clean and polish the front door and hardware.  When cleaning falls short, updating the paint on your door, to subtly tie into the rest of your home, can make a great first impression.

Add Exterior Path Lighting

Exterior lighting is a great way to give your home a modern look. Place them to highlight the path to your home or trees and shrubs. This type of lighting can be used for more than looks. You can also use it as a safety feature, which can make buyers feel confident in your home.

exterior window box

Add Window Boxes

Window boxes can add color and charm to your home's exterior. Consider planting flowers or herbs in them. Strive for variation, in height, size and color. Have some hanging foliage to further break up uniformity. Try not to over plant, sometimes less is more. Tasteful and balanced is the goal. Keep up appearances by keeping the plantings healthy and trim regularly for aesthetics. Supplement with artificial plants only for emergency. Overdoing artificial plants can cheapen your efforts.

Power Wash Your Home's Exterior

Power Wash Your Home's Exterior

Power washing can remove dirt and grime from your home's exterior. A good hose attachment may do the trick, but you can rent a power washer from your local home improvement store. Take care when power washing to only use enough pressure and concentration to remove dirt and not damage any surfaces - start low intensity and only increase when needed. Light detergents, soaking and/or brushing may help loosen dirt and grime from some surfaces, especially window screens.

Refresh Exterior Paint and stucco

Refresh Exterior Paint and stucco

Inspect your exterior paint as it has a tremendous effect on your house’s curb appeal. If it is peeling or fading, it's time to give it a fresh coat of paint. This will make your home look new and refreshed. Paint acts as a moisture barrier and will help protect your exterior walls and foundation. Fill stucco cracks, holes and damage using easy flow calking for small cracks and concrete patching compound for holes and larger fills. Very fine hairline cracks will be taken care of with a paint coat or two.
