Code Text Comparison Tool

This tool will compare the 'reference' text characters, in the text box on the left, to the text in the 'compared' text area on the right. *Checks are made line by line. I made this tool when I was comparing two different pages of similar code for subtle character differences (it works best, and was designed, for this). Simply paste your text from a reference source into the 'Reference' area, and than paste the text from the source you wish to compare into the 'Compared' area and hit the 'Compared to Reference' button. If there are text character differences, their line number/s will be listed in the Differences box with the line in question. This tool will flag lines with different empty spaces characters even if the other text characters are the same. This tool will offer helpful clues on where to look for differences in the two sources. For long text content it may help to make the checks in smaller text chunks as some flags, like new lines, will throw the rest of the following text off*.
